NAVTEC's desire for mutual support to advance the core principles of accreditation and certification of TVET systems for HRD in Asia and the Pacific Region, and help in international recognition of the qualification of the country's technically trained manpower, led to its signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with APACC in June 2007. Executive Director Mr. Shahid Rashid signed the MOU for NAVTEC, whereas Dr. Man-Gon Park, Director General and CEO, CPSC and APACC President signing on behalf of APACC.
Mr. Pervez Iqbal, Deputy Educational Adviser, Ministry of Education, Government of Pakistan and concurrently CPSC Liaison Officer for Pakistan, was one of the witnesses to the MOU signing.
