The Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification Commission (APACC) team welcomed, on November 10, 2016, a delegation from the San Francisco Institute of Science and Technology (SFIST) located at Albay, Philippines, headed by the Vocational Instruction Supervisor Mrs. Marietta Verchez. The objectives of the visit were to officially submit their Application Form and Supporting Documents for APACC Accreditation and to get better understanding about the APACC system.

A short meeting was arranged by the APACC team, headed by the Chairman for APACC Operations and CPSC Faculty Consultant, Prof. Dr. G. Kulanthaivel. He expressed his appreciation to SFIST for visiting and shared the latest developments in APACC, such as the establishment of the Association of APACC Accreditees (AAA), and the Second AAA Meeting to be held in Malaysia on December 01, 2016 which aims to promote international mobility in the Asia Pacific Region. The Projects and Consultancy Division Officer Ms. Adrienne Abril, discussed the recent changes in the APACC system including the fees structure and the certificate categories and duration.

Mrs. Verchez expressed her sincere appreciation to the APACC team for the warm welcome and vowed that their institution, through her leadership, will prepare the necessary documents and improve their facilities for the APACC Onsite Visit as their institution aims for a gold level award.
