Welcome Message Dr. Man-Gon Park APACC President

Dear Participants,

Colombo Plan Staff College for Technician Education (CPSC) and the Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification Commission (APACC) extend warm greetings to all our invited Experts for the Experts' Meeting on "Competence Building in APACC Accreditation" from 25-29 June 2007 in Korea University of Technology and Education (KUT) in the Republic of Korea.

The agenda of this meeting will revolve around solidifying the basic foundation documents of APACC as we come to the final approach of consultations with the member governments.

Another important aspect of this meeting is satisfying the need to introduce and familiarize with the APACC approach among would-be Accreditors and Experts towards building competence on the process set to be carried out from now and on under CPSC's mandate.

We engage the firm commitment of APACC members and those who will carry the torch towards setting aflame APACC until it achieve its goals for the Asia and the Pacific region. APACC's achievements would be the region’s feat to break the common ground for recognition of qualifications and harmonization of skills across Asia and the Pacific region.
