Dr. Hazrat Hussain is assistant faculty consultant of CPSC and is a specialist in curriculum development and TEVT systems. Prior to his appointment at CPSC Dr. Hussain was employee of the Department of Labor, Manpower, Industries and Technical Education, Government of NWFP Pakistan. Dr. Hussain also served as visiting professor to Peshawar College of Engineering, University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar.
As Counterpart from the Government of Pakistan, Dr. Hussain had the privilege to work with the Association of Canadian Community Colleges(ACCC) for the development of first ever B.Ed Tech Curricula in Pakistan . Included are Co-authoring of 11 Modules for Civil Engineering. Consistent with the profession Dr. Hussain has a sound experience in Assessment and Evaluation, Accreditation and teaching learning resources development. Dr. Hussain has around twenty articles in different national and international forums covering areas on Entrepreneurship Development, Knowledge Management, Research and Development, Cost Recovery and Cost Effectiveness, Testing and Evaluation, Non-Technical Skills and Civil Engineering. Dr. Hussain has successfully coordinated and co-coordinated both regional and in-country programs for CPSC. Dr. Hussain has worked as co-chair of the CPSC consulting division and is currently working on special project of Labor Market information system development.
Dr. Hussain has consulting experience with BAK Engineering Consultants and Friends of Environment and Development for projects with GTZ of Germany.
Dr. Hussain received his doctorate degree in Technology Management from Technological University of the Philippines in 2005, Master of Science in Water Resources and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar N-WFP.
Dr. Hussain is married and has a son. |
