A sequel to the Seoul Conference 2004 is therefore necessary to discuss the full operationalization of the Commission vis-a-vis procedures and guidelines, regional standards skills, evaluation instrument, responsibilities of accreditors and other administrative arrangements. It is along this line that CPSC as the lead agency upon which APACC is presently sheltered, is conducting this Inter-Governmental Workshop on Regional Accreditation Modeling and Accrediting the Accreditors in Manila, Philippines from 15 to 26 August 2005.  It is hoped that said workshop will be a forum where fertile ideas to be generated through productive and worthwhile brainstorming sessions will provide good inputs for a credible evaluation system suitable to the needs and aspirations of the region.
