There are a variety of accreditation models. The most common are institutional and program accreditation. An institution refers to a center, institute, school, college or university in its totality. In contrast, an academic program refers to a group of related courses, packaged in a curriculum and leading to a certificate, diploma or degree. Initially, APACC will conduct institutional accreditation of TVET institutions of higher technical and non-degree technical education, and vocational training in Asia and the Pacific Region. |
